Our Mission

At Paragon, our mission is to establish programs that maximize the capabilities and potentials of the people we serve, enhancing their physical, emotional and social experiences as a result. We accomplish this through support and training by a concerned and caring staff that works cooperatively with each person, as well as their family/guardian, referring agency, other service providers and our community.

Paragon responds to the needs of the people we serve on an individual basis, putting the emphasis on possibilities rather than limitations.  We are continually evaluating and re-evaluating our services and developing new programs to meet the current and future needs of those we serve.

Philosophy

At Paragon, we firmly believe that all individuals, whatever their level of ability, have the right to participate in gainful employment opportunities available through a variety of work services.

We believe that individuals have the right and ability to make informed choices in their lives. This ability enhances their feeling of value and self-worth.

We believe in each individual's right to privacy and right to be treated with dignity. We respect and value personal differences, preferences and aspirations.

We believe that through the use of community resources, technologies and caring guidance, individuals are able to have experiences that increase their personal growth, happiness and quality of life.
