About Our Programs

Paragon helps people with disabilities develop skills that will benefit both themselves and the community. Workers gain marketable job skills and work experience while learning to seek and maintain meaningful employment. The community utilizes an untapped labor force and gains contributing citizens.

Paragon offers vocational skills training through instruction in job readiness and paid subcontract work. Paragon's staff assists the people we serve and helps them choose work that is achievement-oriented.

Paragon arranges suitable paid work that people perform within our work sites. These tasks may include assembly, packaging, sorting, labeling, etc. The emphasis placed on paid work varies depending on the abilities, needs and desires of each person working.

People are encouraged to perform higher-level tasks whenever possible. When appropriate, staff will counsel and assist workers in securing other community-based or supported employment.

Paragon has several work sites in the Milwaukee suburb of Oconomowoc, each offering a different kind of work opportunity. Workers may choose a particular site or move from site to site if suitable.
