Industrial Subcontracting Services
Paragon Industries runs nonprofit day vocational work sites in Oconomowoc and Whitewater, Wisconsin. These work sites, which perform subcontract work for a variety of businesses, provide invaluable job training to people who might have difficulty working in a competitive environment.
In today’s tight labor market, recruiting low-skill, low-pay workers is particularly difficult. Paragon can play a vital role for employers by filling this void with workers (people served by Paragon) who are eager to receive job-specific training and perform labor-intensive work. This can be done either at Paragon or by placing our people (your employees) at your facility.
Companies partnering with Paragon have cited many benefits, including:
- Reduced labor costs
- Reduced recruitment costs
- Elimination of the hassles and costs of extra supervision
- Elimination of the need to temporarily shift highly paid employees to menial jobs
- Unavailable workforce in-house to complete large-scale, short-term jobs
- Elimination of the costs of overtime, training, fringe benefits and unemployment compensation
At Our Facility
Paragon currently performs subcontract work for a variety of businesses in southeastern Wisconsin. We have installed a number of safeguards to maintain our reputation as a quality provider of these services. For example:
- All subcontract work is carefully supervised by experienced staff.
- Realistic timelines are set so the customer can be sure of receiving products on time.
- Our prices are extremely competitive. We stay in business by completing jobs at a lower cost than if they were done in-house.
- Only completed products that pass the customer's quality control standards are billed.
- By using piece rate, the customer is billed only for completed products.
- Work can be dropped off at our modern loading docks or we can arrange to pick up and deliver.
Please see examples of our in-house services, as well as some of our customers who have benefited from a partnership with Paragon.
